For each topic, the Forum will present specialists of the public world, private and academic sector, ONGs, International Organizations.

One of the most special guests is the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who will analyze the role of competitiveness in Brazilian politics in the closing conference.
The Secretary General of the OAS, Jose Miguel Insulza, is another well-known speaker who will be present during the Opening Plenary Session, along with the President of Chile and the President of Guatemala.
Also present at this event will be Pier Carlo Padoan, Deputy Secretary General of the OECD, who is in charge of Innovation and Competitiveness policies of this Foreign Organization.
The President of Brazil will be joined by an outstanding group of Brazilian authorities and businessmen, headed by the Minister of Economy and Finance Guido Mantega and the President of the Banco de Desarrollo de Brasil (BNDES), Luciano Coutinho.
They will be joined by 18 ministers of Economy and Development of the Americas who will participate in different panels, as well as Presidents of 14 Regional Competitiveness Boards.
In innovation, the Forum will have a world class expert. We are referring to John Kao, Chairman, Institute for Large Scale Innovation, and author of influential books about creativity and innovation such as  “Innovation Nation” and  “Jamming: The Art and Discipline of Business Creativity”.
The outstanding speakers will also include Richard Lyons, Dean of the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkely, chosen in 2008 as the second best school of business by The Wall Street Journal.
Also joining them will be the Wenceslao Casares, the Argentine founder of Patagon, current president of Bling Nation and one of the most respected entrepreneurs in the Americas.
Along with him, executives of top companies in the region have confirmed their attendance. Among them, Rodney Martin, CEO of Alico; Vicente Trius, Vice-president for the Americas of Walmart; and Jean Paulo Luksic, President of Antofagasta Minerals.
