LIST OF COUNTRIES THAT REQUIRE VISAS

Citizens from Cuba and Guyana must apply for a visa to enter Chile Due to a reciprocity system, the Government of Chile levies a special fiscal tax that must be paid in cash (in US dollars) when entering the country before heading toward Immigration. Participants from Canada, the United States and Mexico, with passports at hand, must pay this tax before entering the country.

Remember that not all countries in the world have Chilean consulates; only those countries that have diplomatic relations with Chile have consulates; if you are from a country that has no Chilean consulate to process your visa, you must travel to the closest country that has a Chilean consulate.
